Rates are exclusive of fuel and oil but inclusive of maintenance and A. A. membership.

16% V.A.T. will apply on the final bill.

NOTE:

• Vehicles are not permitted for use beyond north of Samburu Game Park or Maralal due to poor infrastructure, lack of adequate auto-service facilities and phone links.
• Due to erratic traffic and road conditions, it is advisable to keep any long distance journey to a maximum of 5 to 6 hours per day. Night driving is strongly inadvisable.

INSURANCE:

Rates include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Protection (TP) and Compulsory Third Party Insurance (TPI). Hirer’s liability in the event of theft or accidental damage to the hire vehicle is Kshs. 30,000 for categories A to D and Kshs. 60,000 for category E1. Chauffeur-driven Category E2 is not subject to hire’s liability for accidental damage.

DRIVER:

Must be over 25 years/under 70 years and must have held a full and clean driving licence for a minimum of 3 years.

CHAUFFEUR:

Services of a chauffeur may be enlisted at an additional daily charge as detailed below:

• Kshs. 1,000/- within city limits for normal working hours (8.00am to 6.00pm with 1 hour lunch break).
• Kshs. 1,250/- day trips outside Nairobi during normal working hours.
• Kshs. 2,200/-safaris with overnight stays.
• Kshs. 150/- per hour for overtime (outside normal working hours).

Nairobi Airport collection/ drop off (outside working hours) is charged @ Kshs. 1,200/-
