03 Days / 02 Nights Safari

Fly to Tsavo, reknown for its large herds of 'red' elephants and maneless lions (whose man-eating ways in late 1800s almost halted building of Kenya-Uganda ‘lunatic express’ railway line).  Tsavo is a vast expanse of savanna bush and semi desert scrub, acacia woodlands; belts of riverine vegetation and palm thickets.  There are rocky outcrops, ridges and volcanic lava flows and ash cones including Shetani lava flow.  At Mzima Springs, filtered underground water gushes from below a lava ridge into clear pools.   Other game iinclude giraffe, hippo, zebra, crocodiles, buffalo, plains game and prolific birdlife.

Day 01:  NAIROBI – FLY TSAVO WEST
Collected from your Nairobi Hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport for schedule flight to Tsavo West National Park.  On arrival at Tsavo West Airstrip, met and transferred to Lodge/Camp game viewing en route.  Lunch at Lodge/Camp.  Afternoon game drive.  Dinner and overnight at KILAGUNI SERENA LODGE / FINCH HATTONS TENTED CAMP.
 

Day 02:  TSAVO WEST
Morning and afternoon game drives.  All meals and overnight at KILAGUNI SERENA LODGE / FINCH HATTONS TENTED CAMP.

Day 03: TSAVO WEST – FLY NAIROBI
Early morning game drive. After breakfast transferred back to the airstrip for scheduled return flight to Nairobi. On arrival at Wilson Airport, met and transferred to your Nairobi hotel (lunch and/or use of room is at an additional cost).
